Hey guys so I just wanted to ask some questions about my overclock.
1)So in order to get my i7 2600k stable at 4.7 ghz I have to use 1.39v. I'm just wondering if this is too much or is it ok. I'm using an offset overclock so it isn't 1.39 24/7. How long can I expect my 2600k to last with this voltage. In case this matters on prime 95 the max temp was 77c but during gaming its like 63-65 max and I'm using a p8p67 mobo.
2) So the ram I have is 16gb(4x4)corsair xms3 1600mhz @1.65v. I heard that this voltage is too high for sandy bridge so I lowered it to 1.5v @1333mhz. Should I leave it at 1333mhz or is it ok for it be at 1600mhz & 1.65v.
3) Is there a noticeable difference between 4.5ghz and 4.7ghz? Before overclocking to 4.7 I was at 4.5 @1.33-1.35v and haven't noticed any major changes. I haven't tried any cpu intensive programs so maybe that's why.

1.) Yep, no issue there. With those voltages and those temps your CPU should outlast the viable life of the machine.

2.) 1.65v is the upper limit for SB, try seeing what you can do with 1.575v.

3.) Nope, not in any real world situation that doesn't involve intensive processing (games don't).

Hey thanks for the response, so if I were to change my ram voltage to 1.575 would I just run prime 95 for stability testing or is there some other program I should use?

Prime 95 is definitely a good start.
