Like the title says. I just have a few questions I need answered before I can make before I think about purchasing something off of here.
I was wondering if there was a way for DS to ship faster if I was to pay some money extra? Its just been on my mind for a while. I might be leaving the states and I don't know when yet, but if I was to order a laptop lets say then I would want to get it as fast as possible. I read a lot of reviews and I know the PC's here are very sturdy and worth it if you know how and what your building. I'm thinking about getting a laptop or two instead of a PC since I am leaving and I wanted an opinion from the people on the forums if the laptops are still worth getting here. That's all I have to ask for now and I ask of you if anyone can answer them. I'll post more questions if I have more. If my questions don't make enough sense, just ask and I'll be more specific. Thanks guys! Edited by pikapikabulba - 12 Sep 2010 at 11:49pm |

Welcome to the forums and thank you for your interest in an awesome new Digital Storm PC! We would love to earn your business and add you to our family of great customers.
We do offer a 'Priority Build' service which allows us to ship a system within 4 days after we've successfully processed the order. I would recommend checking with Sarah our Lead Sales Manager ([email protected]) to make sure we have everything in stock as well. You'll get more 'performance for your buck' with a desktop computer. A laptop isn't a bad choice or idea. It ultimately comes down to where you can sacrifice performance for mobility. |

Thanks for the fast reply! Yeah, I'll give Sarah an email and check up. I would rather have a PC as well, but I'm going to be moving around and traveling a lot so that's why I was wondering if the laptops were still worth its buck. I know that since its easier to move around its more expensive, but its what I'm looking for right now.
I'll make sure to email her though. Thanks a ton! Looking forward to it and buying form here. |

A laptop is indeed a great tool to have when moving about a lot. Just thought I'd mention my experience as food for thought. Purchased a laptop with 2 GB of ram and 7200 rpm hard drive. It was a total dog. I bumped it up to 4 GB ram and put a SSD drive for the main drive and installed Win 7. Night and day difference in performance. If you want performance you have to be willing to pay. It was worth it for me. Good luck.

Or just keep the Awesome packing box which you should do anyway for the warranty and you can order a cheaper and faster desktop like i did. The box is really not all that big and it is so freakin sturdy you can stack furniture on top of it and it will not CRUSH ! Good luck and Semper Fi
