Sound cutting out

for some reason my sound is cutting out and sistorting,  
 
could I need to update motherboard drivers,  or will I have to  Ship my whole computer back to DS  and be without it for however long it takes to fix the problem?

I think I am more disappointed with this supposed to be cutting edge computer than I have been with any that I have bought,
 
only one other time have I had  any worse issues ,  that one time I was sold a bad motherboard and had to threaten to take the shop to court that sold it to me.

I hate it when my sound sistorts. Ouch  Just messin witcha!

well I see some degrading  replies  but not a single reply of advice.  
 
hopefully  when I can get ahold of tech support  they will have ideals and not be degrading,  its very irratating to spend what I did on this system and it to be having problems  and barely 3 months old.
 
Have a friend  that  works on computers  that will be back in the area tomorrow  maybe he will have some ideals.  since there is no tech support on weekends..

Got my sound working  took a friend comming over  with some diagnostic disc from  his job he works in a computer repair shop 
 
had to completely clean out the  drivers that were there and reinstall.
