This question is for gamer's and people that like to listen to music or watch movie'son thier computer.Which do you prefer, speaker's or headset? And why do you prefer one over the other?

I prefer the headset.I have a tritton ax51 pro that deliver's true 5.1 surround sound.
Listening to game's,movie's,and music is a very pleasurable expieriance for me now.The biggest reason i prefer the headset to speaker's is when the volume is high,it does'nt disturb anyone else in my home.Or the neighbor's lol.

This is just my opinion, but i think the sound is much richer and deeper with the headset on.Also you can consentrate on the listening task at hand without outside noise dissruption.

Is there any particular brand that you prefer?

I'm kinda curious on this too. I'm thinking I need some headphones (will actually be my first pair ever ) and I was hoping for something comfy and good.

I have a pair of JVC HA-RX700 and they are super comfy and have pretty good sound IMO.  They won't break the bank either as they were in the $40-50 range when I bought them.

Hope this helps.

You can get a comfortable decent headset that deliver's ok sound for around 40 to 50 buck's or you could spend 90 to 100 and get the best sounding headset ever. When i listen to music, watch movie's,and game play it is very important to me to have great quality sound. So im willing to spend the extra and get true 5.1 surround sound with heart stopping bass. However if sound is not really a big deal to you then by all mean's go with the less expensive version's.
