I just wanted to know what people thought the best, most affordable speakers would be. Does it depend on the video card you use cause as I've been configuring my computer, I selected the razar barracuda.

I think you ment sound card, and the Razer card has excellent quality. I use that card with the Razer Mako speakers. They sound great,  but they are far from affordable. Check out logitech for some good , well priced sets.

I dont know much about monitors, but i use the Samsung 2433bw and they work great.

Im using Logitech Z-5500 5.1 505 watt speakers, These are the big brother of the Z-2300's which are 2.1 and 200 watt My friend has the Z-2300's, and if you want the cheaper ones those ones kick ass, the 5500's are better i think, but also more expensive.

The Z-2300 speakers are like 100-150.
The Z-5500 speakers are like 300+.
