Hi everyone, I just received my new Hailstorm yesterday and I am wondering if anyone an help me figure out what kind of speakers I should look at to pair up with the Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD that I got with it. I do mostly gaming but also listen to MP3's and an occasional movie. Because of the fact that it uses RCA out put and only a Left and Right stereo output I am not sure where to start. I would like to stay with 5.1 but am open to others too. Thanks very much!

I use a 2.0 speaker set up myself. I sit in a 10x11 room and do not need very loud speakers. I use them for music and gaming but only when I have to listen for the kids. Otherwise I use a headset.
I use: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836116043 I find them to be clean, clear, and loud enough for the room and what I need them for. I listen to various kinds of music, metal being one. I have seen these as a good 2.1 set: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121048 although the z-2300 (i think its 2300) I heard was better. I am not sure what to suggest as a 5.1 system. |

Audioengine 2
M-audio Studiophile AV40 Sony SRS db500 Check those out. The sony is for heavy gaming though, it has a lot of bass. |
