Squeaking noise in PC???

So for the first time ever and under ONLY in this game will this ever happen but I was playing Universe Sandbox 2 and there's a simulation you can open that has a bunch of stars (suns) etc. and you can line them all up together to see their size and zoom in to anyone you click on... and the SMALLEST ones, I started to zoom in and my PC started making a not so loud but extremely weird squeaking noise as if some PC part was doing some intense calculations or something. I found it kind of scary to hear but that only happens when I do exactly that in the game. I'd never get any type of noise like that with anything else I do or play on my PC. Just found it to be odd... what could it be?

        If not gremlins, my only thought after 3 hours sleep is the HDD possibly making noise during heavy searching, seeking. HDD use to make various noises normally but not so much now.
