Hey guys, I just got my hands on a 32 gig SSD and I want to know if there's a way to set it up so that the OS boots from the SSD and the program and user files are on the HDD.

Which OS is this? Windows 7? 32-bit or 64-bit?

The reason I ask is that 32gb might be really pushing things space wise for 7 once you factor in all the additional space that Windows noms up beyond its "requirements".

That being said, you can easily have ONLY the OS on the SSD and everything else on the HDD. Its as simple as creating folders on the HDD, then storing stuff on them rather than in the default Windows location (My Pictures, etc.). You can also change it so all the Windows folders (again, My Pictures, etc.) link directly to the folder on the HDD, so you don't even need to browse. Really simple Smile
