Vanquish 7. Added an SSD where I would like to install Windows for faster boot up, and leave all programs on the HDD. I was able to add it physically and I could see it on the BIOS and through the existing Windows 10 installed. Questions:
1 - Is it possible to install a fresh instance of Windows 10 and NOT have to reinstall all the apps in the existing HDD disk? How? 2 - My installation is failing with an error telling me it could not be completed. I left the HDD installed the at the end of the data cable and used another plug in the existing cable. As such, HDD appears as drive 0 and the new SDD appears as drive 1. Should I reverse the order of the cable connects so that the SDD appears as the last connection on the cable? |
