    Posted: 06 Apr 2012 at 3:46pm

Iam just got done building my first comp build and am having some problems with my SSD's. Everything in my build started up great. I had bought a 30G SSD and found out right away that i needed more space, so the next day i went out and bought another SSD a 64G. Ihad already installed win 7 on my first ssd (the 30g). I figured I could use the 64g SSD for more space but when i got done installing the 2nd SSD, it wont show up in my bios or disk mangament. I tryed using different sata ports and sata 3 cables.  What did i do wrong? The ssd has power, the lights are lit up on it. Im really stumped. HELP!! I also have the the latest bios version possible,

I'm not at my pc where my cheat sheets are......but from memory..try booting to Safe Mode....usually F8 on boot and see if the drive shows in the list of drives avaiable.    Highlight it...enter..then reboot and see if it's there.    Also in Bios Advanced ...you might have to make sure Legacy drive is enabled.    Every mobo is different so this might or might not apply.

Also try the new ssd in the sata port ssd 1 works in and plug the other in another.   Sometimes sata ports like Marvel and Intel have to be enabled on Bios.
