No no non nyet nein no way and please don't do it.
That is how it was explained to me when I asked that same question. Apparently, because the data isn't being physically stored on a platter it's not necessary to move those fragments around, as in a 'de-frag'. One of the smarter folks will show up soon and most likely answer much clearer than this... I'm still a newb at this stuff, too. |
