Ok, so I've had my system for over a year and am currently running an intel X25-M SSD as my OS and programs drive (linked to below). I've been pondering upgrading the storage capacity and speed of my SSDs, and was wondering about the feasability of buying another one for $230 and putting it in raid 0 as opposed to buying a single drive of twice that price. What are the benefits or drawbacks? I have an EVGA FTW 3 MOBO.
Thanks!

well for that price the 320 gives your bit more speed and space, but raid x25 is always gonna be faster then single ssd, but in raid you better clone or you can lose your data.
also for you to go raid means reinstall of windows and etc. there is another option you know, you get a intel 320 install it as hdd3 (if you have hdd2 already) and just install games on hdd3. or clone the x25 to the 320, then use the 320 as hdd1 and the x25 formated and used as hdd3. I've heard that there are issues with TRIM on SSDs in raid. How much of an issue is this and under what circumstances?

right now trim is not supported on raid, but the difference seems to be not that big of a deal.

Since TRIM isn't supported, what should I do to make sure the drives last as long as possible in RAID 0?

The drop in performance is not much and worst case scenario you can secure erase the ssd and get them back to day one performance, not that you will need it.
