I just reinstalled Win7 to an SSD. Everything seems to work fine, but I need to know if it's necessary to install the audio, chipset and network drivers for my EVGA X58 SLI LE motherboard. Will someone be nice enough to verify that this is required or if Win 7 already has those drivers in the OS. Thx so much.

Well, Windows comes with a load of Generic PnP drivers, that will most likely give you the basic functionality of of the audio, network, and chipset. Some of the stock drivers, such as for Audio and Network, really work just fine unless you want access to the more advanced features of the program suite or are really looking for specific performance gains. The chipset drivers are normally stable as well. What I would do in your case (and what I always do myself) is just install Windows, then access the manufacturers website for each of the devices whose drivers you want to update. That way you ensure you have the most up to date version, as those on the disk are very likely going to be outdated. The generic network drivers of Windows will most likely get you up and running to access the web without issue.
