I pre-ordered my copy of windows 7 pro today and Im currently debating if I should purchase an ssd in nov/dec. Im thinking I could use my 300gig velociraptor for my media/less demanding games. I plan on waiting a month or two after windows 7's releases to install, I figure by then a few sp's will be out and W7 will be fine tuned.

Since a clean install is required when upgrading from vista home prem to windows 7 pro, it might be time to jump on the ssd bandwagon. Which leads me to my next question, Is it possible to install all your files on one ssd and eventually add another ssd in raid 0 with out having to do anything special? I think its not possible because in raid 0 the data is split in half on both drives.. Thought I would ask though...

I figured that much... I might just see what comes out around Christmas time and upgrade to a board that's Sata 3.0. Im hoping by then a 1300-1500w psu comes out as well. Like the one evga has been promising since forever ><.

Well im sure when the new 40nm cards come out I will need a better psu because im already using 930w with my current setup.

I intend on picking up some 300 gen nvidia cards to run quad/tri sli.Im also thinking about a mobo change as well, Id like to pick up a later gen classified that way all the bugs are worked out.
