Hey, so I ordered my Lynx model 3 on 2/11/20, and its still only on stage 2. I was just wondering if this was normal from DS. they were telling me to expect the pc to come from 2/20-2/24. Do these next stages go faster than stage one 1 and 2?

It really only has been 7 business days since you ordered. Much of the delays are simply due to your place in the build-que. Also, if you have any components that were out of stock, that could add additional time.

Oh you do have a point. Is stage 2 the building stage or is that stage 3?

Each stage is given a number of business days as an expectation. Consider the following from my Lumos build:

Stage 1 - 5 to 10 business days
Stage 2 - 2 to 5 business days
Stage 3 - 1 to 3 business days
Stage 4 - 4 to 8 business days
Stage 5 - 5 to 10 business days
Stage 6 - 3 to 5 business days
Stage 7 - 1 to 3 business days

These are estimates. DS could actually beat them for each stage. Uncontrolled delays could also extend them. At least they're something we can work with.

Welcome and congratulations on your order. Awesome

The Lynx line are prebuilts. The stage process is very much abbreviated since the system is already built and only has to be dusted, stressed and shipped. There is no binning of parts or assembly required. GrandesBollas ordered a Lumos which is not a prebuilt so the process is longer.

Your next notification will probably advise that the system is ready for shipping if not shipped. We haven't heard of delays in the Lynx line. Most have been on Veloxs and Aventums.
Keep us posted and we do like images of the pc at home. Big%20Smile

Good to check your spam folder for stage updates. They can often end up there. It's also true that the notifying process of the stages can lag well behind the actual building. this can lead to the misunderstanding that perhaps a build was not properly stress-tested, but rest assured, they all are.

Okay so even the Lynx builds with the i7 processors and the 2060 graphic cards are prebuilts? That means there should only be around 4 stages. Thats great news! Thanks for the help!

It's really "strange" but if you read a lot of this same question it's basically there is no set "stages". I ordered a Lynx level 4
January 25 - I ordered
January 27 - email stage 1 (it was in spam folder)
February 13 - email stage 2 (also in spam)
February 17 - email saying it had passed the stress tests and would be shipped in 1 day unless it failed the stress test..?? I actually got 2 of these emails back to back. no "stage" was stated
February 18 - shipping notification was sent. and I should receive it tomorrow.

But by reading the forums I was kind of expecting such, so wasn't worrying. Yes, it's hard to wait when we are used to getting things shipped immediately. But really don't worry about the stages, I got silence from the 13th-17th but apparently things were happening.

i ordered a lynx level 4 on 6/11 and 2 days ago it moved on to stage 2 and its supposed to ship now between the 13th but i’m only on stage 2 so idk anymore this wait is so long it’s almost be a month and i can’t play on my ps4 anymore
