ok So I guess they shipped out my computer on monday night.   I so can't wait to get it, I will definitly take pictures of it.

You have got to see the desk I am using, it's simple but yet big enough.  My sister bought me a 24" samsung monitor, so now I have a free monitor.  LOL, damn I am having one great year here.  I have a copper head but then bought the lachesis.  ARG that lachesis looks slick as hell, If anyone wants a razer copperhead that doesn't have a good gaming mouse, give me a heads up and I will figure something out to make it fair.  Mabey some contest or something to get a free copperhead mouse.

Although, how bad is the lachesis with Vista?  I am going to check out both mice and see which one feels more comfortable for me.  Who knows, If I don't find the Razer Lachesis comfortable then I will to a contest for that instead of the copperhead.

The lechisis in vista for me did not bode well. Its hard to explain, the tracking would continue to go "straight left" even as my hand rotated the mouse as I moved it left (you know, your mouse arc when tracking left to right)

After a week, I could not get used to the feel of it. The reason is because I am strictly a "claw" gamer and hold the mouse in my fingertips and not rest my hand on it at all. The mouse is shaped more for a palm gamer that rests thier palm on it.

Hold on to your copperhead in case you dont like the lechisis... its always good to have a backup gaming mouse too!

After a week, I am back to my copperhead and very happy.

yea, I found out today that my computer with the QX6850 was only able to get up to 3.33Ghz Cry  thats with the liquid cooling.  Damn stubborn processors.   I was told before though that without the cooling it was able to hit 3.4 to 3.5 Ghz steady but it just couldn't reach 3.6.  I mean I understand stubborn processors but now that I think about it I got 2 different numbers and they don't match up :/

I gotta tell you, overclocking is an art form in many cases. I have the same chip and it runs at 3.6... when I was having issues I would drop it down to 3.0 Want to know the difference in the real world performance? none.

My framerates stayed the same and applications ran the same as well.

It may very well have run at 3.4 and 3.5.... but once they start testing and seeing how stable it really is, that may have changed it. Good example is when I touch 4.0 it seems fine, until certain apps are used and then it gets unstable.

who knows, with a bios update and a little help you may be able to push it more.

Yea, I don't want to though cause then it will void the warrenty LOL.  I guess 3.333Ghz is fine, I guess it's less heat output so the liquid cooling might keep it at a very nice temp. , hopefully hehe.

If it unstable running certain apps.  then I have no arguement, I don't want to go through any unstabling issues because of some certain applications.  ewww that would suck.

Me and Bigdog actually had a nice long conversation (shortly after this thread) about the overclocking, etc, and we can push his system to even 3.8GHz, but, in real-world terms and the heat it will put it out, we agreed to see how it was at 3.3GHz first.

We want all of our customers to be happy with their purchase. But hey, at 3.3GHz its rock-solid stable!
