I was fortunate to receive my stage 5 email this past Tuesday which was a huge relief. A close friend of mine who ordered his build the day after mine (10/16 for me, 10/17 for him) got his stage 5 email on Wednesday. Nothing too unexpected there, but he then received his stage 6 and 7 emails yesterday while all is still quiet for me. The extra day, now closing in on two, in stage 5 plus the higher priority of my order having been placed earlier has me concerned. I was just wondering what other people's experience has been lately on the duration of their stage 5 with the waves of 3080's that have been coming in to progress orders.

I'm in the same situation. I ordered 10/17 and have seen people who ordered later being on stage 6. As concerned as you are :/. I'm dying to hold my PC....

IIRC Stage 5 is stress testing.

This is the stage I want my machine in the longest. I want to make sure that every piece plays well with every other piece and that everything works flawlessly at high speed and temps.

So, sorry about the wait, we know you're all excited to be getting a new machine, but let them push it to the max so you'll know if you do it will be able to handle it.

What Snaike said. I wouldn’t want this to rush this process, or any process in general. I’m in stage 5 too and checking my email every notification hoping it will be DS alerting me that I’ve reached stage 6 but I won’t want to bother them about status and rush them by all means. The hardest part for me is seeing my setup complete and only missing my PC.

when it’s in stage 5, along with all of the days it remains in stage 5 is it just sitting there waiting or actually being tested?

I’m not sure but I am anxiously waiting for mine to move to Stage 6 also. My guess is they have been very busy due to GPUs being out of stock, covid19, and the holidays. As much as I really want my PC already, I rather have them take their time to make sure everything is working flawlessly before they ship it out.
