Just so I don't get things wrong. That means that my computer is built, they are just testing everything? Edited by BUDKevlar - 08 Dec 2009 at 6:53pm |

Interesting... Been at this stage since Sunday morning and got a call yesterday where they wanted me to call them back. Find out my memory is out of stock. If my memory is out of stock how would the system be built?

They run a 2 day stress test to make sure the setup is stable enough to give to you.
It's possible they found a bad stick during testing and there's no stock to replace it from. Edited by satsunada - 08 Dec 2009 at 6:58pm |

If knowledge is power and power corrupts, then total knowledge corrupts totally.

Stage 5 is when testing starts.
The system was built without memory in Stage 4 so they could get it at least out of the assembly process. Having a system wait on being built because we don't have memory in stock wouldn't be a good idea.
Once you select from the various options on the memory shortage, the testing team will install the memory for you and start testing the unit.
Please stay in touch with our staff directly either via telephone or the message board for direct support and your choice of which route to go with the memory situation. The forums are simply a place for other customers to collaborate and talk about things related to Digital Storm, etc... Edited by Alex - 08 Dec 2009 at 6:59pm |
