Video card is the GTX 470 and a copy of my build is below. My DS computer is on its way and I can't hardly contain my excitement! ![]() Thank you as always! yes, your CPU overclock is great! Digital Storm never overclocks the graphics cards very much.
stock core is 608Mhz and yours is now 618, the shader clock is locked in at double the core speed so 618+618=1236Mhz,
memory is DDR5 so stock is 837 x4=3348Mhz, yours now is 847x4 = 3388Mhz.
LOL hope I helped.

Thank you Justin! Your explanation definitely helps me understand the numbers better. I had no idea about needing to multiply or add numbers. I have to say that this forum is great for inexperienced people like myself. Everyone is so friendly, knowledgeable and never makes anyone feel stupid for their lack of knowledge.
Thank you! I am so happy I found DS and this forum! Never will I return to Best Buy for a computer.......YUCK! haha |

best buy has at least some good prices on laptops...o.O no point in really overclocking or upgrading a lappy. found a nice Asus G73JH there for $1200, which is really decent.
