When did you order and you're on Stage 4 already?

I ordered Monday.  Was Stage 1'd immediately and haven't gotten an update yet.

Was stage 1 on tuesday, 2, 3, 4 yesterday. No further updates.

But as I say, I think there will be a delay for the copper piping in mine...I think, but Im not sure.

If its as awesome as I think its going to be I dont mind the wait.

For complex high-end systems, I would not hold the stage updates to be 100% accurate. Many times we pre-test hardware before the copper piping with normal liquid cooling, then we re-test with copper pipes, etc...

Cool, thanks for the info.  Hopefully mine gets to a new stage today then.. Can only hope :)  Mine was Stage 1 practically a couple minutes after I ordered, maybe that was because of credit card payment?

My build is less complicated than yours I would anticipate it would fall within their standard build time.

Can't wait!

Hey folks,

Just wondering what to do.

One of the techs called me and said that they cant fit in the copper tubing for the water cooling on the chipset (the cpu and graphics cards will be fine with copper). He said they can do the chipset if I do rubber tubing, which I am totally fine with.

15 mins later, I get a contradictory email saying they cant fit the chipset cooling at all, but Im not sure if that gentleman knew about the phone call I received 15 minutes earlier.

I called the customer service and they said Gerardo would call me.

Just hoping to get some clarification. I just hope that I got across that I was completely fine with rubber tubing for the water cooling on the chipset and that the copper pipes was still fine on the cpu and the graphics cards.

what type of chipset was it? I know certain chipsets do not support liquid cooling as mine did not.

Well the motherboard is the ASUS Rampage IV Extreme X79 (Intel X79 Chipset), but I think its a space issue.

Im just waiting to hear anything really. Its not a problem, but just want to be clear what is happening.

As long as your not doing extreme overclock and that the case has decent airflow, the chipset will normally take care of itself. If they can only do all rubber or all copper minus chipset, I personally would do copper.   Just make sure the Aventum has good air cooling also.

Thats the point of clarification I want :)

The phonecall said they could do copper on the cpu and graphics but rubber on the chipset. I am completely fine with that.

The email said the could do copper on the cpu and graphics cards but no cooling on chipset because of space. But Im not sure if the guy who emailed me was on the same page as the guy who phoned me.

I received these messages within minutes of eachother, so just looking for clarification.
