So I Have a question with my order, I ordered the aventum x and did not upgrade the stock fans it came with as I felt it was a bit of a waste of money at the time. I don't think they would put in crappy fans in a 5k build and the other ones where just rgb with maybe a faster speed. However I was wondering if the stock ones have rgb or lights behind them as I have seen some videos that have them and really liked how the fans looked in the case with the rgbs behind them. Anyone have any idea on this?

You really will need to ask DS what they chose to install in yours. It can change. Not listing what they will use for “stock” case fans gives DS the ability to use the least expensive fans in your build. It’s quite an important choice in an Aventum build. Your case uses a whopping 14 fans I believe, and you do need to know, aside from various RGB lighting options, all fans are definitely NOT alike in CFM performance, bearing technology, static pressure, and reliability.
Higher static pressure fans tend to work best for radiator mounts, while for other case fans higher CFM is best. The various fan upgrades by Corsair (HD, LL, ML Series fans). and Thermaltake each have websites where you can look into those fans performance differences and compare. The RGB fan upgrade prices also will include required modules to link and control all the fans. Generally, brand name fans would also carry longer warranties. Changing out fans later may be a challenging job for you to do yourself in a complex 14 fan build like Aventum! Good thing about DS computers is that you can change build components if you are willing to pay and wait a bit. |

So I talked with a tech and we went over some stuff he said to not worry about having stock fans as they will do the job well. He said with the amount of radiators that my system will stay very cool. I also really don't have the extra 300 to spend right now anyways as the er sent me a nice bill form my visit lol

Then let the waiting and anxiety begin! Lol...
Many of the fans most visible can be changed out later by you yourself if you decide you want other fans. Others might be a bit harder to change. At least you know more about all it now. |
