"DigitalStorm is a well oiled machine"
That about sums up my experience with this company. It is so nice to deal with a company that has customer service that actually pics up in the same country that your rig is being built in, let alone the same building. every question I had was answered.. Every need i had was met.., And boy did they deliver. This is hands down the most kick ass computer I have ever used. I placed my order on Nov. 6th and it arrived on Nov. 29 I had one special order part (heat sink) which DS promptly took care of for me. There were 2 minor build problems along the way, one was having trouble getting the voltage step down on my heat sink to work, and the other was that the on board sound for my big bang also didn't work. They fixed the heat sink issue rather quickly, and I opted to go with a dedicated sound card instead of making DS tear appart the rig and start over with a new MoBo The packaging was top noth, no way a clumsy fedex guy could brake this. Overall DS gets an A+ from me, but thats nothing new every review on this site is the same thing, over an over and over This computer kicks ass... Just skipped to the bottom, haven't read through the review yet, but no, the pictures are not working (for me at least). Gives me that "Content Unavailable" FB error message.

Thank you for the review. The pictures are not working as Facebook wants us to log-in to view them. Can you upload them directly via our forum or upload them to PhotoBucket and then link them please?

Glad to see you got the pics up!
Rocking review, I'm glad things went so smoothly for you (aside from the minor hiccups). The Assassin looks nice with your setup, I'm actually a little jealous! What monitor is that? Your setup reminds me of how lackluster mine currently is, hopefully that will change soon though. |

@Tidgxor
The monitor is a planar PX line 27inch It was so dead cheap, I got it on tigerdirect for 250 I'm really happy with it. Has a little back light bleeding along the bottom when it's on a dark background, but other than that it's rock solid. |

Heck, for that price I'd definitely be willing to deal with a little blacklight bleeding.

Was about to post about having your PC backed tight up against the wall...till it dawned on me you have the Assassin case...it vents through the roof so I guess you dont need airflow from the back. Nice looking machine!

STATIC1985,
I have a question in regards to the Assassin case, how is the external cable management? Are the cords easy to work with? Any difficulties getting the cover on and over with the monitor cable? Edited by Tidgxor - 02 Dec 2010 at 5:44pm |

Cable managment is super easy, there is plenty of space verticly and it is super convenient to be able to just pop the top off to plug something in instead of having to turn your case. Also I really like that the intake fans on the bottom have dust filters, so you can just clean those once a week or so instead of having to blow your case out.
In short i love this case

Awesome, glad you like it!
I had considered it, but needed save a bit of moolah, so I didn't end up going with it. It definitely looks great with your setup. (Like I said, I'm jealous ) Edited by Tidgxor - 02 Dec 2010 at 6:11pm |
