Pretty much the only piece I'm waiting to see the pricing / options on before ordering my rig. Heard it would be a week or so about a week ago, just looking for an update. Thanks!

I emailed him before and he said he never got my email so I never heard a response but he responded on the forum...not sure if I'm going to spam or what.

Odd, I don't see any of your emails?

The GTX 1070 from EVGA/ASUS are still not here yet, probably in another 2+ weeks... I'll be honest, the Founder Edition is quite good and we are shipping with those. I will ask our team to push EVGA and ASUS to get supply ASAP.

Thanks Alex! I only sent you one and you didn't get it so I didn't try sending another. You seemed responsive enough here and I figured others would benefit from the information.

Another 2+ weeks. From what I'm reading the FEs are much louder and don't make the best throttling choices. A primary component of my purchase is silence, which is why I decided to get a Slade 2 instead of the Vanquish 5 despite costing a few hundred more for the same rig.

I've heard horror stories about ASUS support but would love to get my hands on an MSI or EVGA. I'll have to think about it but man I'm tired of waiting on these 1070s, what the heck NVIDIA. They need to up their freaking production.

Fingers crossed for within 1 week. ASUS support has been good for us and our customers. We don't offer MSI at the moment.

We now offer the EVGA GTX 1070 with the ACX 3.0 cooler. This is NOT the SC version, if you want those speeds (if not better), then select our GPU overclocking service with the order.

Thanks for keeping me up-to-date! The 1060 looks like an appealing option as well, planning on ordering today! :D I have some thinking to do!

Hi Alex, would it have been better to set the GPU to overclock? I just frantically ordered my new PC as I saw the EVGA 1070 is in stock, but read your above message after I ordered and didn't realize it wasn't the SC version.

I'll contact DS and request overclock if it's worthwhile.

If I'm the one that made you think the 1070 acx was the sc I apologize, having talked to Alex before he told us the 1080s were sc so we assumed the same for 1070 but then yesterday Alex let us know that only the 1080 acx are sc and the 1070s are not sc or oced.

So if it was me I apologize for that misunderstanding, nothing I hate more then wrong info.

Same with the 1060s as well as far as I'm aware they're the non-SC version.

No no it wasn't you at all DST4ME! Completely a mistake on my part as I rushed the order without noticing it wasn't SC. I've been waiting for the custom 1070 to come in stock for a while so I quickly purchased without fully reading the card description. :D
