I just received my new DS system, and while reading the enclosed info. I see the PC Mark Score = 9,126, 3D Mark Score = 14,820, not that I know what they actually are.
I haven't started it up yet, seeing as it just came in the door and is super cold. Living in Alaska, things tend to get way during shipping, and I figured it would be better to let it get up to roon temp. first. When I do start it up, will the CO # show up in the System Info.?
Sorry to so stupid, but I'm old! lol
WOW what a system!!
Thx DS
Super Dave

Super Dave!
Congrats on getting your system. There is no needc to let it warm up or cool down. Just plug it in and go!
Now as far as the overclock, when you turn your pc on, it will say in the post screen. But if it happens to fly by and you can't see it (you know, because you're old

Crank it up, Super Dave!!!!!
Grats to you..... Heck, I may HAVE to move to your spare room. The heat issues would be sloved! I would just leave it outside and it should stay cool enough.

ONG!!!! Got this baby turned on and so am I! Can't figure out why I can't get sound to my speakers.......................can get sound to the headphones, but not the external speakers. Weird. New Logitech X-540's, worked on the old system.
When I get back down to earth, I guess I'll check with you wizzess.
What a 1st class system!!! More than I could have wished for, or at least, more than I expected!! Came boxed up super nice; great binder and info., first thing I saw when I opened the binder was a Thank You from DS. Classy boys, classy!!!
What a beast! Big, not to much system sound, less that what I thought when I first opend the box. Looks outstanding...................major quality! No heat issues!
Whoot! Whoot! One happy old man here!
D L & Cr8ton you're gonna love yours.
Gotta go load stuff..........................!
Thank so much DS!!!!
Super Dave

If you are using onboard sound, try downloading and installing the latest realtek audio drivers. I had trouble with my headphones being properly detected until I did that. Grats on the new system |

Thanks for the tip T L, no onboard sound, S B X-Fi XtremeGamer. Checked Audio Devices Property/ Volume/Speaker Setting/Advance and saw the setting were set for headphones........................wasn't sure what setting to pick, and the headphones worked, and I was stoked to load some games so I just left the setting as it was. Figure it's just something simple and I'll address that issue sometime, maybe tomorrow, the next day or the day after.
Was having such a hoot with the stuff I loaded!! Now I know how a real System performs! WOW What a Rig!!
Thanks again for the tip, and the Grats. If you have any other ideas, please let me know. I'll try them when my head get's out of the clouds!!! May be a while. lol
