You can get a lot better for your money.

E6850 is the best duo processor on the market atm and you can overclock higher if you want.

8800 GTS 320MB is a very nice entry high performance card that will be able to run any game on high. The 8600 GT is a very weak card and struggle with a lot of games on high settings (even the 7900s outperforms it).

So updated and played with selections based on what was suggested. Dumped the 8600 and took the 8800 gts 320mb card and went ahead with the Intel 6750.

Is there a large difference between the  Intel E6750 and E6850? The price difference is about a 100 bucks.

Thanks for the responses

They are both great CPUs, just depends on your budget. I would say the 6750 is the best bang for your buck.
