   For you folks with lots of power draw, what are you doing to protect your equipment?

I now have a system with a 1500w power supply and 3 large monitors plugged into a Tripp Lite 900VA UPS.  I'm sure this will make it effectively worthless in the case of a power outage, and I don't believe I'm doing any harm at the moment by plugging my devices into it.

I don't really care too much about keeping the system online during an outage, just solid protection from surges and ensuring the PC and connected devices get clean power.
