Hey All,
Tomorrow I am hoping to switch out my Lynx's motherboard (asus h410) with a new asus H570 plus. I'm very new to computer tinkering but after watching a bunch of videos I think I should be able to pull this one off. One question I do have is if the Digital Storm RGB lighting will be compatible with the new motherboard. In addition I would appreciate any practical advice on swapping the motherboard so tomorrow goes as smooth as possible! Thanks in advance! ![]() |

Been almost 20 years since I pulled that one off. Be sure your standoffs from the case are tight. Label all the wiring, or take pictures as it comes off. The new mobo will have at least as many RGB connections as the one you have. Read the manual first thing. All the best!

If I may add... stay grounded, discharge any static electricity before touching any internal components... Take your time and do each step deliberately without excessive force.
Good luck and you got this! |

Hey all, I've noticed one small thing.
When I boot up my fans seem pretty loud, looks like they are going at close to max speed. I can open armoury crate and hit the "standard" fan setting and they then sound like normal, but this doesn't save when I reboot. I have tried changing the cpu fan to manual in BIOS, but it doesn't seem to change anything. I read a post about the digital storm fan control, but can't seem to find that software on my PC and I can't find a download for it when I log into my account on the support website. Any suggestions? Thanks! |
