I just received my new DS rig and was wondering if it would be easier to just install my Raptor and install the image provided by DS instead of buying a program to image the data from the HD that was installed on this machine.

follow my clone guide here its much easier and you get everything moved in one shot, much faster too.
if you don't want to purchase the software, check out p2p networks or search for a trial version and see if the trial will do it
but I mean I love Acronis, its something I use at least once a week to make back of my OS drive, I say its well worth the money and if you use it to clone as backup once a week, you will see what a great app it is after the first time your OS drive goes bad and the clone saves you Edited by DST4ME - 28 Mar 2009 at 8:21pm |
