Hi guys...I have vista home premium 64 bit and will have a system freeze usually while online about 10 minutes after I turn on the computer. It does not happen while gaming. My specs are as follows:
Antec 900, asus p5q3 mobo, 750 W ps, 500 GB sata HD, GE force GTX 260 core 216, 4 GB of ddr3 ram 1333, intel quad core 2.66 ghz oc to 3.37 ghz by DS. microsoft wheel mouse
The problem never occurs while typing only when moving the mouse. The pointer will freeze and everything will stops working including the keyboard and mouse. I cant esc out or control alt del, I have to do a hard reset. I have googled this and noticed others with similar issues. Most think it is a vista issue. I have updated my mouse drivers. Any thoughts?

yes it freezes when I browse or even look through photos. Things will be going fine, but at a random point usually about 10 minutes after doing an activity I will move the mouse cursor and the pointer will freeze and everything locks up. It has been doing this since I got it in August, but before it was less often or I wasnt using the internet as much(I was gaming more). However, I figured it was a vista issue and that a new patch would fix it. No luck so far.

Thanks alot. I am scanning now and will let you know if anything comes up. I have bitdefender which was rated the highest antivirus, spam and malaware protection...I used to run adaware and had some problems that hijack this actually found last year on my old computer. I guess I will use bitdefender for antivirus and this program for spyware.
