Been saving up to upgrade my computer and finally have enough saved! yay
Just wanted to ask around about my build , how the set up and everything is, if I forgot something or any possible conflicts =X http://www.digitalstormonline.com/comploadsaved.asp?id=113103 is what I have got so far, but maybe trade to the GTX card instead? Thoughts , suggestions? =X Looking at placing order by this Friday and just wanted some extra feedback from the Guru's hehe Thanks in advance! |

That physics card will make a good doorstop. Very few games support it currently. And yea upgrade the case a bit..you might have some airflow problems in that tiny box.

Use the money from the physics card to upgrade the case. I would either delete the sound card or move up to the X-fi card. Audigy isn't any better than the onboard sound. |

Although I rarely use sound I did upgrade it , thanks! :) I probably will now that I will actually be able to play games on this one hehe
I kept the physics card , I do believe that ghost recon supports it , hawt ~! Lot of other friends say they notice a difference in FPS, maybe they are full of crap but ... we'll see plus there is still that support for GR! hehe :D Other then the case I guess all is ok? I'm always scared I over look stuff and have conflicts so I thought I triple check before hand . Thanks for the suggestions and pointers! |

NVidia bought Ageia and it appears all NVidia cards that support Cuda (8x00 series cards and newer) will have some of that function built in. Google NVidia buys Ageia and see if you still want to drop $$$ on it.

IMO you need to reconfig your setup since its using old config options. there are new options that you should look into. such as the new cpus available. you may find the setup coming out alittle cheaper with better parts. trust me...ive been researching diff setups for at least 6 months and found this out.
