Found this on my system yesterday. A Google search reveals this as spyware, but Zone Alarm Pro does not "see" it.
Anyone else?
TIA

All I know is what I read from the Goggle list. It sure looks like spyware. It's certainly not on my two week old XP Pro based DSO machine. I'd say kill it if you can.

This is what Symantec had to say about it:

Type: Spyware
Version: 3.83
Publisher: ReFog Software
Risk Impact: Medium
File Names: Systems.exe
Systems Affected: Windows 2000, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows XP

Behavior

Spyware.KGBSpy is a commercial spyware program. It logs keystrokes, Web sites visited, and clipboard activity. It also has a screen capture logger and can be run automatically in a silent, undetectable mode.

This spyware can use FTP or email to send all the logs to a remote server or email address.

These actions are configured in the program's Control panel of Systems.exe. When the program is in Hidden Mode, it cannot be accessed until it is brought out of Hidden Mode. This can be done with a hot-key combination (the default combination is Ctrl+Alt+Shift+K).

Symptoms

The files are detected as Spyware.KGBSpy.

Transmission

KGB Spy Software must be manually installed.

Just to make sure, you need to run a few other antispywares to see if it's indeed a spyware. Use the Free A-Squared free and SuperAntiSpyware to see if these 2 apps can detect it. ZoneAlarm Pro antispyware function is not really good anyway, i enable the firewall function but disable the antispyware function and rely on others apps for antispyware.
