Anyone here have one?
How would you rate it? Most importantly, how long did it take you to receive it from order date until arrival? |

look at the review section, I know couple of people that got it, they love it, but you dont need to get it, its a luxury, it only does the cpu, and you need to have a big circuit cause on top of the system's psu, tec has its own psu, you need a 20amp circuit to run it, your regular 15amp circuit won't do.

I bought one. The cooling circuit cools the CPU, Northbridge and up to three graphics cards. I know it's a power hog, but I'm prepared for that.

@Emwun Garand,
I am aware of your order since today, Craig brought this up to me from the email you sent him, I understand your order has definitely taken a lot longer than we would have liked. It's mainly due to the special EVGA video cards, the 3GB ones. From my understanding, the team wasn't happy with the results on one of the cards so they needed a replacement, and we've been waiting for EVGA to send us our order of cards. I sent a message to the Purchasing Manager and the inventory team to find out when we can get your order out ASAP. You may also contact me directly via email at any time: [email protected]

Thanks for clearing it up Alex. I was offered to swap the cards with the EVGA GTX 580 Overclocked 1.5GB cards, which I would have approved, except that you were going to charge me $10 more per card, when, if anything I should have gotten money back considering what they retail for compared to the 3GB cards. I hate to be such a pain in the ass, but I spent a great deal and almost 60 days later have nothing to show for it yet. I really do appreciate you getting in touch though. Thanks |

@Emwun Garand,
It may be due to a special pricing we had or have on the other cards. Once I hear back from the team, I'll email you back directly. I recommend emailing me instead ([email protected]) of using the forums to communicate with us directly. This way, I can take care of your order more effectively. And, you're most welcome, thank you for hanging in there.

Don't go with oced cards, just let them get the 3GB cards, if you are at 2560 x 1600 you want the extra vram, if you are lower res, then stock 580s are more then you need to begin with.

TEC Power Consumption:
1. The computer may use up to 2 power connectors that must be plugged in for the unit to operate properly. Failure to do so may harm the system. One is for the actual computer and the other is for the cooling system's TEC peltier unit. 2. Wherever the computer is plugged in be aware that this computer may draw up to a maximum of 10 amps. This means that whatever circuit breaker this computer is connected must be able to handle a minimum 10 amp draw from the system. |
