Since I ordered my new rig yesterday, I'm looking into replacing my old G15 gaming keyboard and G9 laser mouse.

I just started looking into the K90, Max and Razer. I mainly like to play FPS games like BF3. Also I use my computer for work too.

I have the Max Keyboard Durandal G1NL Red Backlit Mechanical Keyboard and a Logitech G400 Mouse. I love both of them. I love the mouse because i can use the arrows on the side to go forward and back. I also like the fact i can change the dpi speed of the mouse.

I run a Razer Orbweaver, Lycosa, and Deathadder mouse, and NAGA.

The orbweaver is the newer mechanical version of the Nostromo. After i went with a nostromo to game on instead of a keyboard i will never go back. The orbweaver/nostromo are far superior than using a keyboard. Just something as simple as having 6 buttons for your thumb alone and have them respond fabulously is enough for me to never go back to using a keyboard. It fits your hand like a glove, never having to reach for anything and never fumbling keys. As for the lycosa keyboard, i dont recommend it for typing, reports and such, they keys are crazy stiff. As for the Deathadder mouse for all of my fps and 3ps shooters, best mouse i have ever owned. And the NAGA mmo mouse is the best on the market i believe. I just wish they would put the 12 buttons about 5mm forward to fit your thumb better. Hope this helps.

Oh and for mouse pads, if your looking for one, the Razer Goliathus small is what im using, and its the best mouse pad ive ever used. Just keep in mind, if you are going to order any razer products, do it from Amazon, not the actual razer store. They have terrible customer service and overcharge shipping like crazy. Like this mouse pad was i believe 12-15 bucks, and got it here standard shipping from AMAZON for about 3 bucks i think. Razer will charge you 10-15 bucks just in shipping. Just a heads up.

also i have had 2 black widow keyboards, that both died on me with in a year, i would not get one if i were you. One was the Ultimate version the other was the BF3 special edition. I bought this lycosa because it was cheap and i dont use keyboards to game just type. I would not go with it, terrible keys, they have a new version on amazon tho you might check that out.

Here ya go, you even get one of my huskies in his favorite spot.

Hello all, I use the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate for a keyboard. I love the mechanical keyboards because they are better built and more solid than the typical electronic keyboards. As far as mice, I go with the Mionix Naos 5000 with a backup mouse of a Roccat Kone. The mice are sitting on an Roccat Alumic mousepad. The Mionix Naos 5000 is a solid mouse and fits my hand very well.

I was looking at the DeathStalker Ultimate, but no one has it in stock - is it that popular?

personally, i would not recommend a Razer keyboard. the only Razer product that i have owned that didnt die/break in the first 2-3 months is a pair of carcharias headphones (which i only got cuz they were dirt cheap on sale at bestbuy). and iirc, most of the Razer keyboards use Cherry MX Blues, which are great for typing but are not ideal for gaming. for gaming you want Reds or Browns

if youre looking for a mechanical keyboard, check out mechanicalkeyboards.com, its got a lot of info about the differences and they sell a ton of different brands.

I'm not familiar with the Deathstalker but I really like my Blackwidow. I did have some problems with a couple of keys going a little dim on me but through a miracle of sorts they corrected themselves and are fine now. I think with most electronics with the exception of a few companies, it is the luck of the draw whether you get a lemon. Quality control is lacking in much of the industry with the exception of Digital Storm.

I almost ordered the K60 earlier until I found out it's not backlit, who knew!? K90 or G19 is at the top of my list for now.

I use the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2013 mech keyboard, and the Logitec G9X laser mouse.

Best keyboard I have ever used...6 months now...all keys still look sharp and clean with no evidence of wear and no issues. The backlit green is really easy to see at night, and brightness is very adjustable.

I have owned several of the previous gen Logitec G9 and have 3 computers using the G9X now...Great mouse for FPS gaming with long & good quality sleeved cord...Very adjustable both for weight, shape in hand, and button adjustable DPI. Even has adjustable light flavors.

I can also recommend the Corsair K90 keyboard as a solid build...my son has used that blue backlit mech keyboard about 8 months now and likes it.   There is a new improved K95 version just coming out now.

I am still using my 3 yr old Logitech G15 keyboard and G9 mouse.
