I acquired a vintage computer/gaming console Texas Instruments TA-I-99A. I can not tell if it is operating properly. Seems like it may have some issues. Not sure what it is supposed to look like. Is anyone familiar with this vintage computer/gaming console? The below pictures show the opening menu when computer is turned on and the game itself. |

I had the TA -I99 4A computer way back when and loved it. I had the expansion box, voice synthesizer, etc. I remember the graphics being a whole lot better than that game. However, I don't remember the monitor or TV resolution or other settings I used it with, and that could be the difference. It had a RF modulator that attached to its own 13" TV, I think, maybe 256x ? or 512x ? resolution. Also remember having to use alcohol or an eraser tip to clean the oxidation off the pins on the modules. Fixed a lot of issues. Good luck with it. ![]() |
