After my terrible experience with CyberPower, I was probably one of the most cynical computer buyers on the market. The company that wanted my business was going to have to prove to me that they deserved it. Digital Storm did that in all of a single phone call. All of my questions were answered without hesitation. Dave (the representative) was not only exceptionally friendly, you could tell he really loved his job (unlike 99% of other phone reps) and could talk about computer hardware all day, even outside the workday.

As a recent grad school graduate after experience in my field before going back for the PhD., I need a reliable system that performs seamlessly to power productivity and business communication so that the computer does not waste my time (and has the flexibility to perform well for the game or two I'll probably install), but I do not have tons of money to build it. Digital Storm fits the bill better than any Internet retailer, bar none. They made good on their hardware tweaking and processor overclocked for optimal stability claims, as the hardware I purchased easily performs well beyond its specifications. The masterful internal wiring, negligible system noise, restoration image (doesn't Alienware CHARGE for that?) and personalized documentation binder are the icing on the cake--these are the goodies you'd expect out of a much more expensive retailer, but you get them all here.

If I have a future support issue, I am not worried how it will turn out. With how fast you can talk to a person on the phone and the reaction time to online contact I have experienced, I know Digital Storm will work with me with an issue, not against me like CyberPower.

Hmmmm...come to think of it, this sounds more like a sparkling review rather than just a simple introduction/pat on the back. I think it's high time for a ResellerRatings repost, aye? ^_~

I might not post much, but it's great to know that this board is here as a resource if I need it...as it is obvious that customer support keeps close tabs on it.

Welcome. Are you in anyway related to Bill The Cat?   He's our resident "Resellers" advisor / advocate.

@Rexxaran: I love that music video associated with your avatar! -^^-

@Minion: Cats are awesome, but I don't believe I've been formally acquainted with Bill. I just feel more people should know about these computers, and not buy them from vendors that don't put such an emphasis on customer service. I didn't think a PC builder like this really existed, and quite simply, more people need to know about DSO.
