Go to best buy on friday and pickup bioshock/crysis/the orange box which are all $25 each instead of $50.
 
 
Will DSO be doing any holiday sales?

I have HL...... and BioShock..... and Crysis.  The last two are sitting here waiting more patiently than I for my DOS system to be built and shipped. I played BioShocke on my currant system.... ok, but slow and laggy.
 
Crysis was small res and it made me yurn for my new system.
 
I have a question, will Half Life 2 run on my new MONSTER rig with vista ok? Will Steam update it for that?

I've played through the whole Half Life series already on mine.  Runs great... no issues.  Bio Shock is gay but runs fine and I doubt I'll be purchasing Crysis because, well, it just bores me.

 $25 for The Orange Box? That's a deal and a half. I just picked up Oblivion. Between The Orange Box, Oblivion and Eve, I ought to be set for a good long time. I'm actually with Ed on Crysis. It just did not do anything for me. The visuals in the Demo lost their wow factor quickly, and the game play just wasn't anything I enjoyed past a half day of trying the game out.
