Figured I'd answer this question on the forums since I get asked it a few times every day. The new 9800GX2 does not run in triple SLI. It doesn't. I'm sorry. The card is actually two 8800Ultras already running in SLI. So having three of them would be six way SLI. Which it will not run. There aren't even any BIOS updates out  yet that will let it run in two way SLI. So if you get one, just get one. It's really all you will need for a while. Oh, and we don't offer them yet. As with the 790i, it will likely be out in March.

I did originally too, but I've been told it's two underclocked Ultras. Over all, it has a 30% higher performance over the Ultra.

Wouldn't two underclocked Ultras be two 8800GTX? Either way, it'll allow 680i board owners to quad.

That was my understanding as well.  Quad-SLI...let's hope they don't bugger it up this time!
