  Well Im happy to say I just placed my order for a lovely DS desktop. I have been waiting for years too build what I wanted and spend as much as I wanted. Even If people laugh at me for the price, will they still be laughing when they get awped down "long A".
  Here are the spec for ya'll

Hey im curious

You spent a lot on the CPU QX line and for the GPU went with the lower clocked 260..how come?

well I have money but Im not made of it, the 280 was $539 more then I could get. But like the terms said, Free upgrades so ill buy a better one in the future if theres a problem with the 260. Besides in 1 year this whole set up will be basiclly out of date. As long as CS:S and D&DO play well Ill be happy

If he didnt request an EVGA card directly chances are good he wont get one.

Its all about the $$$ she will say.

I tried to offer a GX2 for 150...but nooo too expensive....oh..its back from the dead by the way, apparently it jarred loose again..who knows why..i havent been kicking it or anything..
 
Maybe if i try to sell it for 100+ shipping..lol...i cant believe i card I paid 600+ for wont even sell at 150 a month later..haha..insane!

Actually im considering using it in a build im doing for a girlie of mine that lives out in New York City. Ive known her for a lonnng time..10+ years. since we were kids...we always play Wii online together, but going to art school and living in NYC kinda forces her not to have the money to get a gaming computer....so im building her one..that way i can play with her..lol.....its selfish but im so damn sick of mario cart over and over and over...

no im building her a cheap one...lol half the stuff is gonna be hand me downs from the old DS machine... only crappy part is i have to get another DDR3 board to go with the extra ram i have left over from gutting this machine.
