I just got it in the house and opened the crate and man that thing is big!  Haven't hooked it up yet but will very soon.  So far A++ for packaging.  Also came with a box of accessories that i hope are for just in case purposes only.  Thought that was nice.

I know I know picutures are coming soon.  I just got everything up and running and would like to say that its pretty damn cool!!!  I put COD on thinking it would load up super fast and it took 15-20 minutes to load up on the computer.  I thought it would have been faster been a SSD.  Its still awesome.  Ermm

Its louder than what i thought it was going to be and was wondering is there a way you can turn the fans down or is that bad to do for the computer?  Maybe i will just have to get used to it.

Would i do it all over again??  In a heart beat! Ermm

For case fans use BIOS but I would recommend leaving it the way it is as DS knows what they are doing.  Anyways most of the noise is from the GPU's which need all the cooling they can get.

As for the game, it could be limited by your CD drive too, SSD's are only as fast as the rest of the system.

its your GPU fans, if you have precision, run it and set fans to auto, they will run full speed only during gaming/heavy use.

things should load faster, maybe it was the first time?

I think he meant it took 15-20 minutes to download. If not, then that is a problem.

Hi,
It took 15-20 minutes to put the game on my computer.  Once it was on its like 10 seconds to load which is very nice.  I had to download 4 patches to play the game and that took awhile also.  Its a big game.

I was looking at my computer HD's and there is one that says "System Reserved-DO NOT FORMAT (D)".  Whats that mean?  Also its says file system NTFS. ??.

DST what is precision?  Would that harm the computer if i turn the GPU fans down?

Sorry for asking these questions they probably are dumb questions to you guys but i don't know.  This is the first time i have had a computer like this.

On my old computer i had Itunes and i downloaded all my music onto a portable HD.  Well when i went to load it on this computer it says the files are M4A files?  WTF??  What is an M4A file?  How do i convert them to MP3's.  Or do i have to redo it again?  Anybody have this problem?

Oh yeah one last question Hug  On the top of the HAF case its a rubber square that says fill port, i took it off thinking cool that should be easy to fill the water cooler but that must be for a different cooler huh?  Its not even close to the cooler.  I guess i could put a nice sweaty beer up there then since its rubber.  J/K.  Really though what is that for?

Thanks guys!!  ErmmErmmErmm

1. The HDD is the restore point its a partition
2. Precision is a GPU program and it shouldn't hurt the cards if its on auto
3. No problem they're good things to ask
5. That's for LC but DST doesn't use it as it requires more tubing and is less secure.

sounds like that is your recovery partition as mentioned, so leave that partition alone, NTFS is file system structure that you use when you format the drive it has smaller sectors in the drive allowing for better data management, the old format was "FAT" now its "NTFS".

precision is a tool that allows you to change GPU fan speeds and also OC the GPU if you want to, in this case we want to change fan control, so look under your programs and it should be there if not let me know

you need to install Itune software on this PC also so it can recognize your Itune files, unless you want to convert them to mp3, then we have to look into that.

the HAF has that fill port but the cooling system DS uses is not compatible with that, so that port is not used.

Give him a break, let him get used to it, you guys pressure him, it will just take longer, he wants us to see the pics as bad as we want to see them, he is just new to image hosting, so lets help him figure that out.

Ramdurand go to photobucket and setup a free account, and upload your pics there then just give us a link to your gallery

I will post the pictures really soon.  They might not be the greatest but you can see.

We already put Itunes on the computer, so do we need to put the itunes folder from the portable HD onto the computer.  Or how do we convert them to MP3's?
Any idea how that happened?

do this:

download K-Lite Mega Codec Pack and during install pick the full option from the drop down menu,

after you download and install that

from the same link download and install the "update pack"

after install see if you can play those files

HWMonitor will show you all of your temps, thats all you need.

CPU-z will show you your cpu specs and such, thats all you need.

post a screenshot of those 2, make sure your system has is underload then take a screenshot and post them. by under load I mean you have been gaming for a 1/2 hour or longer
