I was on the verge of purchasing the HP Blackbird when I happened to come across Digital Storm while visiting the Nvidia website.  Very impressed with the website and the community.  Here is my potential build.  Please feel free to offer any constructive criticism or comments.  I will be hooking this system to a 46" Sony XBR (yes I know I have an electronics addiction, I'm seeking help.....really...Smile).

Thought about going tri SLI but I'm not convinced it's something I want to pursue right now, but I wanted the flexibility should I choose to go that route in the future.

The Asus Maximus Formula does not support SLI.

Only the 780i supports tri-SLI currently.
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star.

Thank you.  I have updated my build to reflect the 780i.

I also forgot to mention that this system will be used primarily for gaming.

I just wanted to make sure that there were no compatibility issues (such as my original choice for my motherboard and wanted future tri sli compatibility).

I am not a computer expert by any means so I am open to any suggestions or feedback.

only thing i would say is maybe drop one of the dvd drives for a blu ray drive instead, since it would appear that HD DVD is going to die regardless of the petitions to save it, and with the 46" sony hooked up it would be nice to show off the Blu ray for those times when your not gaming of course ;)
Before you mock someone, walk a mile in their shoes, then at least your a mile away and have their shoes as well :)
