Ok im going to be useing my computer for Everquest, World of Warcraft, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, and mabe Age of Conan. This is the best I can come up with my budget. I have a monitor already 22 inch Acer . Anything else I can so without going over $1700 that would be worth it? Also I plan on ordering within  the next week. This build is $1647.

Same case I have. If at all possible, I would heavily recommend Stage 3 cooling.

Should I stay with Xp or move to Vista you think? I don't want to get something that won't be supported in the future, but I would rather have something I am familiar with and won't be lost useing it if its goina stay supported in the future.

Tough call tbh. Given the instabilities I have now experienced with Vista, I would not call it "worry free". If you want the most stable platform you can have, go with XP. If you want compatibility with the latest DX versions, you need Vista.

I agree with Tyler.  I have XP Pro on my old system and it has always run like a champ!

I have vista on my new DSO rig and it is buggy.  Sure, games look and work amazing under Vista.  But, everything else in Vista blows.   I many times wish I had stuck to XP until all the Vista bugs were worked out.

Let's be honest, Microsoft's MO is to release an operating system with a million issues and then patch the hell out of things along the way.  Personally I would stick with XP for the time being, let Microsoft iron out some of the bugs with Vista and then switch.  As much as I love gaming, I want my system to be stable.

There will be some folks that will gladly tell you that they have Vista and have absolutely no issues or problems.  When I start hearing from those folks more than the folks who claim Vista is the spawn of Satan then I will make the switch.  LOL
