I am trying to install a software on my laptop but, I can open the file. The program is installed as a zip file. I tried extracting it and run the Exe file. I am not getting any error message. But, I can't run it.
I am using the Windows 10 OS. Is it that the software is incompatible on Win 10. Or would there be any other underlying cause? I software I downloaded is Gemlink 5.3 which the download portal says will run on win 7. http://www.gemsys.ca/software/

I am not sure whether it is the problem with my system. My friend is getting the software on his windows 7 O.S.

Need your help to figure out the issue.

There are some issues w/W10. Just because it runs on W7 does not mean much anymore. And the much ballyhooed DirectX 12 is.....
A few of us have not "upgraded/updated" to W10. Big%20Smile

Unfortunately GEMLink does not support Windows 10 OS.

GEMLink supports Windows Win98 Second Edition, Win ME, Win2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7 operating systems.
