I have been out of the PC game for awhile now, but I have recently come into a little cash and it's the year of change! :D  I've created three different systems and would greatly appreciate any thoughts/comments/advice/tips on these rigs.  I want this machine for primarily gaming, but I would rather spend a little extra now and get a system that would last longer.   Drum roll.......

For $900...

2.83Ghz Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
ASUS P5N73-AM
4GB (2GBx2) PC6400 DDR2
500GB 7200RPM 16MB Cache Serial ATA300
1GB ATI Radeon HD4870 GDDR5 PCI Express DVI/Tvout

Or I can get this for $1200...

2.66Ghz Intel Core i7-920
MSI X58 Platinum
6GB (2GBx3) PC10600 DDR3 1333Mhz Memory
500GB 7200RPM 16MB Cache Serial ATA300
896MB nVidia GeForce GTX 260

Or stick to the original, saving some scratch (700 $)

3.16Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo E8500
ASUS P5N73-AM
4GB (2GBx2) PC6400 DDR2
500GB 7200RPM 16MB Cache Serial ATA300
1GB ATI Radeon HD4870 GDDR5

All of them have the rest of the components (case/psu/disc drives/etc) and installed Vista 64.  Any help guys?
