Time certainly flies, I'm here again to get a new PC from DS. :)

Thoughts, feedback, etc are welcomed.

Budget:
$2,000-$2,600+ (shipping included, but not necessary with the current deals available with ground shipping).

I have a 1080p monitor, one of these days I'll upgrade to a better one in the future (just not at the moment) likely to 1440p or higher.

Also looking at the RTX 3070 whenever it is available at DS. :)

Other accessories like keyboard, mouse, etc will be upgraded in due time.

Usage:
Mostly medium to heavy gaming, general web surfing/chores, recording game footage, and light video editing.

Expectations/Long-Term:
Solid PC which will last five years plus (never had any issues on that front with DS), and minimal upgrading as needed on parts.

Special Needs:
I live in a somewhat dusty environment, so definitely not looking for anything resting in the floor. Also looking for a relatively quiet PC, nothing too loud.

I expect DS to price the 3070 out around the $600 they charge for the 2070. That's not a prediction, just a hunch. The 3070 will be total overkill for your 1080p, but will be the card you want for any high frame rate 1440p monitor you get.

I like the choices you've made, but you don't need 10 cores for gaming, and the 10700k is just about as fast. Put that $73 toward the 3070, and it looks like you'd be right about at that $2600 after discount.
