Hello,
I want to replace my 5 year old gaming computer with something more up to date. The main game I play is Eve online which does not require that much to run on max settings, however I do like to play Farcry 3-4 and fallout style games as well. I like to use 2 monitors, however I don't intend on upgrading to a G-sync or higher end monitor that would take advantage of the Nvidia 980 hence the down grade to the Nvidia 970. I'm looking for opinions on items I could change in the configuration I've chosen that might be better or more cost efficient. Thanks for the help.. Budget: $2200 Expectations: To be able to play any game now and in the next few years at high settings and stable performance. Usage: primarily gaming, will also be used for very light home office work. Special Needs: Ability to handle dual monitors. Good cpu cooling due to my heavy usage, and good enough PSU to handle either an upgraded video card or dual Nvidia 970s in the future. Hi Edicut.... Your Apollo build looks great. Congrats on picking the better EVGA 750 watt G1 supply. Better efficiency and much better warranty over the other. If you're willing to spend another $30, I'd get the 850watt for future sli. The 750 will be ok for sli 970 but a little extra headroom is good.
Not much to critique . Good luck. |
