I cant believe it's been 2 yrs since ordering my Digital Storm computer...Flawless performance during that time as well, but it's time to upgrade my 2x275 gtx's. Looking for suggestions. At this point I'm looking for a single GPU (not running SLI) due to limitations with my build. I had my 2nd card in an x8 slot on my EVGA X58 mb. I have 750w Corsair, 6mb ram, i7 processor, noctua cooler and have been eyeing up the 580 gtx.
Thoughts? thanks for the help! Confused

Forget the 580 its not that different from 570 where it counts but new gpus are coming out in jan/feb, you gonna want to wait for those and see how they do.

a 570 is like dual sli 275.

i guess I can wait a little longer. At least I can  hope for a price decrease in the 500 series when something new comes out if performance isnt significantly better. I read the "Kepler" technology is supposed to be better than "Fermi", but you cant believe everything you read!

thanks!

Well pretty much every new gpu is suppose to be better then the last family performance-wise, now heat and etc has not always been better but so far performance has been better but by how much we don't know, I assume it will be couple of more years before we see the type of jump we saw going from 285 to 480.
