Time for my 5th DS build (3 desktop, 2 laptop) as my Velox 6700K with 1080 is holding me back (although is still purrs like a kitten).
Budget: 5K-6K Usage: primarily 4K flight simulation with MSFS and P3Dv6(?) Put together this system... The proc IMO will be just fine for the next 5+ years. Ditch the overclock! It will turbo up to 5.1GHz whenever the need arises, and the heat generated by running full bore all the time may well shorten life span.
