Hey so I just ordered a Tower yesterday. I know there are 7 stages and usually stage 1 is the longest. Anyone that has had previous experience and history know by when I should receive the tower? I’m hoping for by last week of August since it saids about 6 weeks to ship. Although I’ve seen people wait up to 19 business days just for stage 1. I know depending on parts it might take longer but I don’t have anything too crazy.

Here’s my config:

Stage I for myself, has been 25 business days so far. It is likely that we are behind a long queue of builds, as I placed my order the 6th of June, which was processed on the 7th of June.

its hard to predict the progression now. I ordered 5/20 and waited 40 days before movement finally came. But they were dealing with obstacles that are being/have been over come with covid staffing issues, and covid supply chain/inventory problems. I've personally witnessed a significantly visible surge in progress just from these forums and testimony from the people who post here. but this has been my progress on a custom lumos, 3191392

Stage 1: 5.20

Stage 2: 6.29
3 days
Stage 3: 7.2
6 days
Stage 4: 7.8

Wow 40 days , 25 business days. Jeez, now I’m not sure if I’ll get mine by end of August , maybe October

remember what I said about circumstances being different now. I wouldn't rely on my experience as what you can definitely expect.

I think when it updates it’s gonna be at like stage 5 or 6 cause I’ve seen sometimes where it doesn’t update for a while after estimated date and it goes up 2-4 stages. I would call. Like I’m gonna call if stage 1 takes longer than 10 days to see where it’s at.

Well if it goes past the estimated shipping date, I will probably email or call to ask for an update. But hopefully that won't be necessary

Oh what no no no can you change it back to a 10900k then because the guy told me the 10850k were in stock and was not sure of the 10900k.

Ordered mine 6/30 and been stuck at stage 1 since

Called previously to arrange for a self pick up and the guy assured me that it’s a 6 week turnaround

Now that we’re into the 3rd week, can I still expect the same?

Move into a new apartment in SF and sold my old gaming PC, left with nothing now :(

Also you’re saying you guys will get more 10850k in early to mid August but the guy on the phone said they were in stock, so who’s telling the truth cause now I feel like I’m just being told what I want to hear.

Yea I’m getting bothered now. Like what’s in stock what us not, one employee saids yea change we got the other , and one employee saids no it comes mid august while 900k will be delayed longer when a SUPERVISOR said last week the 10900k arrived this early week.

I have no idea who’s telling the truth anymore.

Okay I sent him an e-mail. I don’t care about waiting cause ish happens let’s be realistic, but I do not enjoy different answers from different people.

If it’s in stock, tell me, if the truck and it’s manifest disappeared into oblivion or the product was lost, tell me, I don’t mind waiting, I do mind lying/not knowing what’s going on in you company. Please don’t say something is in stock to make me feel better I will not be made if ish happens cause it does. Just tell me. If it causes delays longer than August, tell me so we can change the specs and find what’s actually in stock or coming soon cause I am aiming to get this by end of August.

Honesty is the best policy, I get some customers get mad because it’s not a perfect world (those are the worst) but I understand and just ask for the truth. The truth won’t give me false hope in timing.

I'd be willing to bet that 10900k is coming in this week, but someone didnt realize that you're possibly too far behind in the queue to benefit from that shipment. Perhaps the stock will be used completely before they reach your build, making you wait even longer.

Then why not tell me that, or better yet, why not say when I’m ordering it that it would be back ordered , like example, if they plan to receive 100, and I’m number 110 needing that processor . Then why does the system not update or at least they tell me yea I’ll be fine and then proceed to tell me jk this shipment won’t be for you until I called , if that’s the scenario that occurred .

If you originally placed your order with a 10900K BEFORE we added the 10850K to the website, your 10900K was allocated.

Please contact our sales team to have your config changed back to the 10900K if you'd like that processor still.

I called. Said I ordered before 850k was on website , so should be an allocation for me, he said not sure and that it would come in August. Said I should stay with 850k so I am,


I don’t know what to think or say, close to asking for refund but ima just let it go and hope to see a PC in August.

Yes please since it was originally allocated for me and I made my order before the 850ks were on the website

So rest of team is aware of 10900K vs 10850K swap. Your order was changed back to 10900K.
