Thought I'd post this to see if I can get an answer here before contacting support. I would appreciate any help.

My configuration: https://www.digitalstorm.com/configurator.asp?id=1489140

What are the sizes of the tiny hex-key screws that keep the top panel in place? I don't have permissions to upload photos to this post and when I try to embed the images from my OneDrive, the encoding messes the link up.

I screwed up by thinking that I could take the top panel off so that I can dust out the top radiator from the inside out without the top of the case obstructing the air way and possibly deflecting the dust back into the system. I also need to dust out the fans on top of the radiator with a blower and a brush, and the only way to access these is to remove the top panel (or to disconnect the top radiator from the Hydrolux water-cooling system, which I'm trying to avoid at all costs if possible).

I thought I had the correct allen wrench for the hex-key screws on top, but the two closest ones I have are either a tad too small or too big. In addition, the LED wires held up by the sides of the top panel have become loose and the only way to put them back into place on one side is to remove the top panel.

I have a Rosewill computer repair tool-kit with all of the necessary tools except for the correct allen-wrench size. If I have to unplug the top radiator, then so be it, but it would be fantastic if I could just remove the top panel. I had a drain valve installed so I can flush the fluid, but am not experienced with disconnecting a radiator from the cooling system.

I've examined the PC from the inside and I know which wires are connected to where so that I can safely take the top panel off without having issues (aside from the key screws).

Would this be possible? Thank you for reading. Cheers.

Drinking Tech,

I am 69 and have been retired 7 years but I understand your choice of the name "Drinking Tech" I was a field tech for most of my career at Boeing before becoming a System administrator.

Brother, I know all about the long road trips around the country and the little precious bottles of booze from the airplane. They sustained me over many a field trip.

Great picture of yourself by the way!

I just got my new system Saturday replacing my 12 year old DS beast.

I wish I could provide technical advice on this issue but I am sure the Wizards of The Forum will jump in and provide the info you need.

If it was me, I would just call Digital Storm & have one of their tech pros save me time by looking it up in their system.

To be 100% honest, I am very unsure if it's a hex or a torx. I think it looks more like a torx but I'll be contacting support just to be sure. I appreciate it :)
