I call like everyday, seriously. Thank you Mark for not tearing my head off on the phone and checking on my order everyday.

I call rather often also, It is a hazard of spending as much as we do, it is rather like having a child in the hospital for surgery and wondering if they are alright, you tend to call a lot if you can not be there :)

I have made like 4 or 5 calls and been called twice... so I guess I am not quite every day, but every other day is not unheard of :)

Yes I have and it is a fallacy, it boils in the exact same length of time if it starts at the same temperature and has an identical heat source applied, watched or not.
That is a law of thermodynamics, quite provable :) I have another adage for you, one that actually is provable as true. The squeaky wheel gets the grease :) Edited by Kliebor2 - 06 Jun 2008 at 6:13am |

Never watched it, but in cases like the one here, a call every few days to check on things is hardly out of the ordinary.
Just keeps you in the mind of the vendor/company and keeps your interests fresh in the memory. I am not calling and screaming at anyone, just asking for updates, I am not giving anyone reason to dislike me. merely remember i am here :) |

Thats not true of the other pot is 15,000 feet in the air, it will boil much faster as the less air pressure lowers the boiling point. Therefore they should build computers in space. Al Gore logic. Factual statement followed by a non connected and wrong conclusion. Edited by SunfighterLC - 06 Jun 2008 at 8:20am |

You can stick your head up a bull's ass to get a good look at a T-Bone, but wouldn't you rather trust the butcher?

That guy was one of a kind... loved him. I actually used that quote in a sales meeting a number of years ago. I had 30 salesman in one room going over product knowledge and presentation and one guy in the back just had nothing good to say and kept interjecting negative comments about why they should be using our company. I gave him the quote and the whole room turned, looked and laughed at him. It obviously wasn't the best way to win friends and influence people, but I got him to shut up until I could address him outside of the class.
That was fun! |

I still think Beverly Hills Ninja is one of my favorite movies...
I still can not help but laugh and feel good when Chris Farley at the end comes to his step Brother's rescue and suddenly becomes 'The Great White Ninja' and just kicks some serious butt. That was one hell of a funny movie... I suppose it helps if you enjoyed Chris Farley's brand of humor... which I did a lot. |

Don't worry about KC. I enjoy it when you call in because I can get my behind off the chair and do some exercise.

Here's a thought regarding that exercise... DSO could do like the Japanese companies do. Have an exercise break period where all the employees gather for calisthenics! Whee! ![]() |

Wow another great movie... a classic :) Assan motors... an obvious jab at Nissan back in the days when American made meant better.... not junky car that barely goes 60000 miles before breakin.
Although that is changing... albeit slowly... Chevy has a few with 100K warranties... Edited by Kliebor2 - 06 Jun 2008 at 1:51pm |
